Reading toll road tickets for motorways
A reading ticket solution on a motorway must withstand hostile environments characterized by car and truck pollution, operating temperatures ranging from -10°C to +55°C, rain and dust, and 24 hrs/365 day operation. The application requires a reliable, aggressive reader, able to read the code from wide Pitch and Skew angles. The overall size must be small as the enclosure must not protrude from the toll booth wall and so avoid being hit by big truck mirrors. The double wedge interface capability must be present as two ultra-thin industrial laser readers, installed at different heights in each lane, have to be reached by both passenger and truck drivers.
