RFID-enabled maintenance asset tracking

The company preventative maintenance plan experienced several process failures as fluid samples were taken from multiple ports on the mining equipment and transported to a lab for analysis. Human input error led to a high rework rate and service errors from incorrect labeling of samples. Durable RFID tags uniquely identified each step in the process while a portable RFID reader systems fed the tag data into a maintenance package.
