RFID aids textile company with quality control

Producing Polar wear is a long and difficult process. The machine called splitter is an important device that splits the material for the clothing. When a run in the material is found, a technician attaches two RFID tags, one at the beginning and one at the end of the run. When the cloth finally reaches the splitter, a reader reads the run and stops the machine. The technician then aligns the material to have it cut on the run. This increases productions and reduces waste.
