Car shape control with area sensor

The use of area sensors helps the manufacturer to improve the machine's performances and reliability as well as simplifying the process. In this application the machine uses special heating panels to dry paint on the car body by placing the panels at the right distance from the surface. The use of an area sensors has allowed the elimination of a complex motorized system that controlled the car profile using two photocells. The manufacturer can reliably control the shape and above all the moving parts and consequently the system reliability is increased and the process facilitated thanks to the elimination of mobile mechanical parts.
